The Pop Media Award (before 2007 the Pop Press Award) is an award which aims to encourage Dutch pop journalism.〔 Since 2004 the Pop Media Award in award on an annual basis during The European Music Conference and Showcase Festival Eurosonic Noorderslag in the Dutch city of Groningen.〔("Eric Corton wins Pop Media Award 2011" ), ''Nltracks.nl'', 14 januari 2011〕 The Pop Media Award is awarded for the entire oeuvre of a pop journalist, mainly taking into account the achievements of the past year.
